Admission Process
University provides a common academic calendar for all the colleges from mid July to March.
Admission Process ( B.A, B.Sc, B.Com )
- Admission is open to the state subject holder and children of Central Govt. Employees, Army and
Para Military Personnel posted in J&K state.
- The Admission schedule is announced every year containing detailed information and is published in the local Newspapers much earlier then start of admission.
- Students should present themselves personally along with their parents for admission and apply for admission on prescribed forms, which can be obtained from the college office along with the prospectus.
- Admission will be given only to those candidates who have qualified all the subjects.
a. Re-appear / compartment cases in 12th standard are also eligible for admission.
- A Student whose result is declared late by JKBOSE may be admitted as per rules of University of Jammu.
- A Student with a break in academic carrer will not be considered for admission in the college. However the principal may condone one year's break in case of students where he / she feels convinced about the reasons leading to the break in studies.
- Change of subject is not permitted in B.Sc / B.A / B.COm II / III Year.
- The Principal reserves the right to accept or reject any application deemed not fit for admission without any reason.
- 75% attendance is mandatory to appear in Final Exams.
- The fees once paid is non-refundable.
Admission Process ( B.B.A )
- Admission is open to the state subject holder and children of Central Govt. Employees, Army and
Para Military Personnel posted in J&K state.
- The Admission schedule is announced every year containing detailed information and is published in the local Newspapers much earlier then start of admission.
- Students have to appear for the counseling conducted by the University of Jammu.
- Candidates appearing for the counseling must have minimum 50% marks in 10+2 level for Gen Category and 45% for Reserved category in any stream.
- Total Number of seats allotted to college by the University of Jammu are 100.
- There are 10 seats available in the management quota.
- The admission form and the affidavit are attached with the prospectus.
